The Watermelon Park Fest Band Contest

One band will win a $500 paid slot at Watermelon Park Fest 2011!

THE RULES:

1 - Band Contestants must have weekend passes to enter the contest.

2 - Bands will play one song of no more than 4 minutes in length.

3 - All bands must be acoustic and must include either banjo, mandolin or fiddle.

4 - Bands must be checked in at the Side Stage by 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, and may be called to the stage in any order.

5 - No drums or electric permitted. Bands will be provided with a single mic.

6 - No Watermelon Park Fest Main Stage performers permitted in the contest.

7 - Winners will be announced on Saturday at 3:45 p.m.

8 - Winning Bands agree to play a couple songs on the Side Stage at 8:45 p.m.

9 - All contestants agree to hold Watermelon Park Fest and its affiliates free of liability for any and all damages resulting from participation in the contest.

10 - The Contest Coordinator has the FINAL say. There will be no disputes, quarrels, or arguments heard whatsoever.
